Professor Jinghan Xu is an associate professor of Photography Department at Communication University of China in Beijing. He was also a visiting scholar at University of Southern California and Columbia College Chicago. His research focuses on documentary photography, technology related movies and image aesthetics. Professor Peter Fitzpatrick is an Australian artist / educator who is the Special Advisor for Community Engagement and Professor in Photography at Columbia College Chicago. Peter works with still and moving image, reaching across analogue and digital technologies. Peter has been involved in developing the teaching and research programs at the Australian National University, the Australian Centre for Photography and Columbia College Chicago. Peter coordinates social impact photography programs for the Diane Dammeyer Initiative.
