Title of Work: “I am”
Statement: The “I am;” project is all about self-reflection and growth. Every soul in the world has or will experience something traumatic, saddening, heart-breaking, etc. at least once in their lifetime. It’s unavoidable. It happened to me one after another. Darkness and unhealthy thoughts take over the head, leaving you to wonder…who are you? Why do you deserve this? Why are you the way that you are? Left alone in my attic for hours, I separated my person from the world, and created my own. I constructed myself from scratch, reinventing myself. From self-hatred, I appreciated myself and saw the value. The original thoughts: I am stupid, I am worthless, I am alone, etc., all turned positive. I am trying, I am building, I am accepting, I am growing. Ultimately led me to accept that I simply am. Every soul has the right to fight for themselves in what can be a cruel, deserting world. I clawed to find happiness, and in the end I did. I am.

这个项目是关于自我反省和成长的。世界上每一个灵魂在一生中都会至少经历一次创伤、悲伤、心碎等，这是不可避免的。这些事接二连三地发生在我身上。黑暗和不健康的想法占据了你的心头，让你不断思考……你是谁？你为什么要经历这些？你为什么会成为现在的样子？我独自一人在阁楼里呆了几个小时，把自己和世界分开，创造了我自己的空间。我白手起家，重塑自我。从自我憎恨中，我欣赏自己，看到了自己的价值。原初的想法：我愚蠢、我一文不值、我孤独等等，都变成了积极的想法。我在努力，我在建设，我在接受，我在成长。
最终，我接受了我自己。在一个残酷的、荒废的世界里，每一个灵魂都有权为自己而战。我努力寻找幸福，最后我找到了。我就是我。
Biography: Growing up with art in my veins, I fell in love with Photography in High School. I studied inside and outside of classes to perfect all aspects of my work. Every time I hold a camera, I continue to learn and grow. My love for photography has naturally grown to being involved with cinematography and graphic design. Nothing however will exceed the moment you snap the perfect image and everything falls into place. Born and raised in Chicago, I plan to travel the world and capture it with my eyes for everyone to see and experience.
